BJA FY25 Second Chance Act Training and Technical Assistance Program

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking a cooperative agreement to provide training and technical assistance under the BJA FY25 Second Chance Act Training and Technical Assistance Program. The work will support Second Chance Act grantees, with particular attention to Smart Reentry program grantees, by helping them assess community reentry strategies and implement or expand interventions that address gaps in technical areas to reduce recidivism and improve public safety. The program also emphasizes technology adoption and expansion to strengthen reentry strategies, along with statistical analysis support to help grantees inform and achieve their objectives. The opportunity has no cost-sharing requirement, allows awards up to $605,000, and closes on April 10, 2026, with the OJP Response Center listed for questions.
