Strengthening Uzbekistan’s Anti-Corruption Framework to Improve the Investment Climate

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs is seeking a grant to strengthen Uzbekistan’s anti-corruption framework and support a more transparent, predictable, and competitive investment climate. The project is intended to improve anti-corruption efforts by strengthening institutional capacity, advancing reforms, and reducing corruption risks in high-risk sectors. It is expected to run for 12 to 18 months starting in September 2026, and applications will be assessed on project analysis, design, monitoring, risk, institutional capacity, and cost-effectiveness. Up to $750,000 is available for one award, and applications must be submitted through Grants.gov by August 3, 2026.
