OJJDP FY25 Nonparticipating States: Connecticut, Texas, and Wyoming

The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention is offering a discretionary grant to support juvenile justice activities in Connecticut, Texas, and Wyoming for local public and private nonprofit agencies, including Tribal agencies. The funding is for work tied to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act core requirements, including deinstitutionalization of status offenders, removal of juveniles charged as adults from adult facilities, separation of juveniles from adult inmates, jail removal, and efforts to identify and reduce racial and ethnic disparities. Eligible applicants are limited to local public and private nonprofit agencies in those states, which are nonparticipating states under the Title II Formula Grants program, and no matching requirement applies. Applications are due April 30, 2026, with an estimated total program funding of $4,438,678, up to five awards, and an award ceiling of $1,045,806.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants are limited to local public and private non-profit agencies (including Tribal agencies) in Connecticut, Texas, and Wyoming. Nonprofit organizations that hold money in offshore accounts for the purposes of avoiding paying the tax described in 26 U.S.C. 511(a) are not eligible to apply.
