Maternal Produce Prescription Program (MP3)

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is offering grants through the Maternal Produce Prescription Program (MP3) to develop and implement community-based produce prescription programs aimed at improving nutrition for maternal populations at risk of poor health outcomes. The program seeks to address nutrition insecurity and related health factors by providing funding for nutrition education and access to healthy produce. With an estimated total program funding of $13 million and an expected 26 awards, eligible small businesses are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted electronically by May 15, 2026, with awards anticipated to be announced by August 30, 2026.
