The Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau is accepting applications for the Maternal Produce Prescription Program to develop and implement community-based produce prescription programs and nutrition education. Grantees must create produce prescription interventions, build community partnerships, identify and retain program participants, provide nutrition education, and participate in training and technical support. Eligible applicants include small businesses and other domestic organizations, which must target pregnant and postpartum women in low-income and underserved areas who are at risk of poor health outcomes due to nutrition insecurity. HRSA expects to distribute approximately $13 million across an estimated 26 awards, each worth up to $500,000 for a four-year period of performance, with applications due by July 17, 2026.
