BJA FY25 Rural Law Enforcement Violent Crime Reduction Initiative

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is offering a discretionary federal grant to support local law enforcement in rural jurisdictions that are working to prevent, respond to, and reduce violent crime. The program is intended to equip rural law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices with resources to implement a violent crime reduction strategy for a specific violent crime challenge. Eligible applicants are units of local government, and no cost sharing or match is required.
