The Administration for Children and Families Office of Community Services is funding a cooperative agreement for the Community Services Block Grant Tribal Capacity Building Training and Technical Assistance project. The selected organization will deliver tailored training and technical assistance to tribal grant recipients, including developing specialized toolkits, webinars, and resources to strengthen compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting. The three-year project operates in a planning phase followed by an implementation and evaluation phase, requiring demonstrated expertise in addressing the needs of low-income families while respecting tribal sovereignty. Eligible Applicants
As prescribed by Section 678A(c)(2) of the CSBG Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 9913(c)(2)), eligible applicants are CSBG-eligible entities, or statewide or local organizations or associations, with demonstrated expertise in providing training to individuals and organizations on methods of effectively addressing the needs of families and communities with low incomes. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
