Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for the FY 2026 Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Program to protect the safety and security of federal judges and their immediate family members. Funded programs must create or expand efforts to prevent the public release of covered personal information contained within state and local databases, registries, and records. Applicants with existing judicial protection programs must clearly delineate how grant funds will be used solely for federal judges, establishing cost allocation methodologies to ensure that any expenses benefiting state, local, or tribal judges are tracked separately and not charged to this grant. Eligible applicants include states, units of local government, and tribal governments that perform law enforcement functions. Applications must be submitted by September 3, 2026, for awards up to a ceiling of $500,000, and inquiries can be directed to OJP.ResponseCenter@usdoj.gov.
