Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Administration for Children and Families Office of Community Services is funding the Community Services Block Grant Essentials for Improved Outcomes cooperative agreement. The selected recipient will provide national training and technical assistance to help states, tribes, territories, and local eligible entities understand statutory requirements, enhance critical program elements like community needs assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance. The project spans a three-year period, consisting of three one-year budget periods, and features an initial planning phase followed by an implementation and evaluation phase utilizing customer satisfaction and training needs assessment data. Eligible Applicants
As prescribed by Section 678A(c)(2) of the CSBG Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 9913(c)(2)), eligible applicants are CSBG-eligible entities, or statewide or local organizations or associations, with demonstrated expertise in providing training to individuals and organizations on methods of effectively addressing the needs of low-income families and communities. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
