NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Research Bases (UG1 Clinical Trial Required)
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, is reissuing a cooperative agreement opportunity for NCORP Research Bases to support community oncology research focused on cancer control, prevention, treatment, and care delivery. Awardees will serve as research hubs that develop and conduct multi-institutional clinical trials and other human subject studies, while also managing study operations, data, regulatory compliance, training, auditing, and quality assurance. The work requires clinical trials and emphasizes scientific and statistical leadership, with awards expected to be made to institutions with established cancer clinical research expertise such as NCI-designated Cancer Centers, NCTN Group Operations Centers, or affiliated cancer foundations. The program is anticipated to provide $74.5 million total funding for up to seven awards over a 6-year project period, and applications are due September 18, 2026; questions may be directed to NCORP@mail.nih.gov.
