DoW Lung Cancer Patient-Centered Outcomes and Survivorship Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, through the Defense Health Agency’s CDMRP, is offering the FY26 Lung Cancer Research Program Patient-Centered Outcomes and Survivorship Award to support evidence-based, patient-centered research that improves lung cancer outcomes and the patient experience. The grant supports high-risk, high-reward projects addressing at least one FY26 LCRP Area of Emphasis in Health Outcomes and Survivorship, and may include translational or clinical research, including pilot clinical trials. Applications must include a lung cancer patient survivor, patient, or caregiver advocate on the research team, and review will weigh the research strategy, impact, advocate involvement, and statistical analysis, with programmatic review also considering military health relevance. The program expects about $1.95 million for two awards, with each award capped at $975,000 for up to three years, and requires a pre-application by August 18, 2026 and a full application through eBRAP or Grants.gov by September 2, 2026.
