Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) 2026
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education, is seeking applications for the FY 2026 Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant program to support low-income parents enrolled in postsecondary education through campus-based child care services. Awards may be used to establish or support child care programs at institutions of higher education and may also cover before- and after-class and other student support services needed to help students continue their studies. The program gives priority to projects that leverage significant local or institutional resources and use a sliding fee scale, and eligible applicants are institutions of higher education that awarded at least $250,000 in Federal Pell Grant funds in FY 2025. The competition is discretionary, with annual awards ranging from $150,000 to $1,000,000 and an expected 48-month project period, and selection focuses on project need, design, management, evaluation, and resource adequacy. Applications are due May 29, 2026, and the program contact is Mose Cartier at 202-453-7373 or Mose.Cartier@ed.gov.
Eligible Applicants
Institutions of higher education (as defined in sections 101 and 102 of the HEA) that awarded a total of $250,000 or more of Federal Pell Grant funds during FY 2025 to students enrolled at the institution.
