The U.S. Mission to Pakistan, under the U.S. Department of State's U.S. Consulate General in Lahore, is offering a funding opportunity for the implementation of a 15-day exchange program to the United States. This program aims to bring at least 10 participants representing digital content creators from Punjab Province, Pakistan. The program will focus on targeting youth audiences and will include recruitment, selection, planning, and execution of the exchange program in the United States. Additionally, a follow-on program will be implemented in Pakistan, where participants can share their experiences and knowledge with other digital creators and youth. The program may be conducted in collaboration with a local implementing partner in Pakistan. The funding opportunity falls under the category of Public Diplomacy and is a Cooperative Agreement. The estimated total program funding is $250,000, with an award ceiling of $250,000 and an award floor of $150,000. The deadline for application submission is April 10, 2024. Eligible applicants include U.S.-based not-for-profit organizations, civil society/non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and public and private educational institutions. For-profit entities are not eligible to apply. The opportunity allows for sub-contracting with other entities, but only one non-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award. The responsibilities of each entity involved must be clearly defined in the proposal. For inquiries, contact the Mission Pakistan Public Diplomacy Grants Management Team at PakistanGrants@state.gov.
