The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, on behalf of the Department of Defense, is seeking a cooperative agreement for the Tree Island Wildlife Habitat Assessment for Water Conservation Area 3 and Everglades National Park in Florida. The work is intended to identify a potential organization to support the project, with anticipated study activities described in the attached Statement of Objectives and no full study proposal or proposed budget requested at this stage. The base period is 12 months from award, with up to two additional 12-month follow-on periods depending on funding, and eligibility is limited to Cooperative Ecosystem Study Units in the Gulf Coast and South Florida-Caribbean CESU regions; recipients must also meet the current NIST SP 800-171 Basic Assessment requirement. Statements of Interest are due by 1:00 PM CDT on May 28, 2026 by email, questions are due by 1:00 PM CDT on May 8, 2026, and approximately $200,000 is expected for the base period with an award ceiling of $630,500.
