The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA is funding the FY26 Breast Cancer Research Program Clinical Research Extension Award to support research that extends existing breast cancer clinical studies. The award is intended to strengthen the clinical value of prior patient participation by continuing data collection, follow-up, and analysis to address gaps from early trial termination, limited follow-up, or incomplete data collection. Applications must address at least one FY26 BCRP overarching challenge or justify an exception, and the research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates; the mechanism allows either a single PI or a partnering PI structure.
