Grant Opportunity Analysis

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is seeking a U.S.-based nonprofit or educational organization to design and implement the FY 2026 U.S. Creative Tech Exchange, a cooperative agreement that connects U.S. creative professionals and technologists with international peers. The program will support up to 30 participants through short-term activities such as collaborative labs, fellowships, workshops, and public showcases focused on arts and emerging technologies, especially AI. Applicants should propose a concept built on their strengths with clear plans for recruitment, program delivery, and measurable outcomes, and they must use the ECA Performance Monitoring Plan framework to define indicators, targets, and data collection methods for reporting participant and program results. ECA plans to award one cooperative agreement of $1.32 million, with applications due July 6, 2026, and questions may be directed to Julia Gómez-Nelson at nelsonjg2@state.gov.
