Region 10 Fiscal Year 2025 Wetland Program Development Grants

The EPA Region 10 Fiscal Year 2025 Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) offers up to $1,857,000 for states, Tribes, territories, and local governments to develop or refine wetland protection and management programs. Applications are due by April 10, 2026. Two tracks are available: Track One for Wetland Program Plan (WPP) development/implementation (states, Tribes, territories only) and Track Two for Non-WPP actions (all eligible applicants). Projects must focus on research, investigations, experiments, training, demonstrations, surveys, and studies related to water pollution and wetland protection within EPA Region 10 (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington). A minimum 25% cost-share is required, though Tribes and intertribal consortia may be exempt if the grant is included in a Performance Partnership Grant (PPG). Ineligible activities include wetland program implementation, land purchase, and conventional wetland restoration. Proposed projects must demonstrate a clear need, environmental benefits, and a plan for transferring results to other entities, aligning with EPA's goals of increasing wetland quantity and quality.
