Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, is seeking partners to monitor salmon productivity and Cook Inlet Beluga Whale prey at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The selected recipient will conduct research and monitoring activities to support integrated natural resources management plans under the Sikes Act. The base period of performance is 18 months from the date of award, with the potential for up to six additional 18-month follow-on periods subject to funding availability. Eligibility is strictly limited to members of the Alaska, Rocky Mountain, and Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystem Study Units, and indirect cost rates are capped at 17.5 percent. Interested parties must submit a Statement of Interest within 30 calendar days of the posting date, with awards valued between a floor of $167,897 and a ceiling of $1,326,101.

SIKES AUTHORITY ONLY: In accordance with the 16 USC 670c-1, Sikes Act, projects for the implementation and enforcement of integrated natural resources management plans, priority shall be given to Federal and State agencies having responsibility for the conservation or management of fish or wildlife.
