The Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Veterans Sports Programs is funding the VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program to support adaptive sports opportunities for disabled Veterans and disabled members of the Armed Forces. This amendment opportunity is limited to organizations that previously submitted under VA-SPORTS-26 and allows them to revise their grant application package by submitting a narrative justification and a revised SF-424. Any amendment cannot change the original project scope or increase the requested amount by more than 10 percent, and consideration is limited to applications that advance to Programmatic Review. The program makes up to $16,000,000 available, with a maximum award of $750,000 per organization, one-year awards beginning around September 30, 2026, and an active SAM.gov registration plus significant adaptive sports program experience expected from applicants.
