Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs is seeking applications to strengthen Honduras' ability to manage seized evidence in a secure, transparent, and standardized manner. Under this cooperative agreement, the selected recipient will collaborate with the Honduran Office of the Attorney General and the Honduran National Police to conduct institutional assessments, improve regulatory frameworks, implement standardized evidence management protocols, and deploy digital inventory tracking systems. The project is scheduled for a 24-month period of performance starting in October 2026, and proposals will be evaluated primarily on project design and monitoring and risk management. Eligible applicants, including U.S. and foreign non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and for-profit entities, must submit their applications via Grants.gov by August 31, 2026, for this award which has a ceiling of $2,000,000.
