Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Embassy Tunis Public Diplomacy Section is seeking small grant proposals under its Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Program Statement to support public diplomacy programs that advance economic prosperity, entrepreneurship, and stronger U.S.-Tunisia ties. Proposed projects may include exchanges, lectures, business and investment networking, cultural and sports diplomacy, STEM and AI activities, English-language programming, podcasts, and university-industry partnerships, as long as they include an American element or connection. The opportunity emphasizes results-oriented programming, possible activities outside Greater Tunis or across multiple governorates, and clear planning around intended results, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, and media outreach, with no construction-related activities allowed. Applicants must submit a detailed proposal package that includes organizational and program information, partners, audiences, a problem statement, activities, impact, SMART goals and KPIs, and a budget justification. Awards range from $10,000 to $200,000, with about six awards expected, and the closing date is June 8, 2026; questions may be sent to PASTunisSmallGrants@state.gov.
