The National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, is seeking cooperative agreement applications for the NCORP Community Sites component to expand the generalizability of cancer research through community-based participation. The award supports healthcare systems, consortia, community hospitals, oncology practices, public hospitals, and health care centers that help accrue patients and support cancer control, prevention, screening, treatment, imaging, and care delivery studies. Community Sites are expected to enhance representativeness in NCORP and NCTN-related research, with annual patient accrual requirements described for adult, combined, and pediatric sites, and clinical trials are not allowed under this component.
