The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is inviting applications for the FY24 Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities (R/ED) in Juvenile Justice through a cooperative agreement. This initiative aims to enhance compliance with the R/ED core requirement of the Formula Grants Program and support efforts at the state, territory, Tribal, and community levels to mitigate racial and ethnic disparities among youth interacting with the juvenile justice system. The program is critical for fostering equitable treatment within juvenile justice, with an estimated total funding of $500,000 and a single award anticipated. Interested applicants must submit their proposals by August 13, 2024, and can direct inquiries to Aloysius Anderson via email at Aloysius.Anderson@usdoj.gov.
