Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Embassy Seoul Public Diplomacy Section is seeking proposals for U.S.-ROK Strategic Partnership Initiatives to advance shared priorities in the U.S.-ROK Joint Fact Sheet and related policy frameworks through public diplomacy programming in South Korea. The program supports innovative, high-impact activities that strengthen the alliance and practical cooperation, including workshops, speaker programs, youth and emerging leader initiatives, innovation and workforce development projects, exchanges, counter-propaganda efforts, and Freedom 250 activities in 2026. Proposals should be implemented in the Republic of Korea and include measurable outputs and outcomes, performance indicators, targets, and a monitoring and evaluation plan; priority may be given to organizations based in the ROK, while applicants outside the ROK should show meaningful local implementation capacity. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental institutions, and applications are due by email to SeoulPDGrants@state.gov by June 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. GMT+9, with $250,000 total funding available and awards ranging from $25,000 to $100,000.
Eligible Applicants
Priority may be given to organizations based in the Republic of Korea. Applicants headquartered outside the ROK should demonstrate meaningful local implementation capacity, including ROK-based staff, partnerships, or proven experience operating in the Korean context.The following organizations are eligible to apply: • Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations • Public and private educational institutions• Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions
