The Administration for Children and Families, ACYF/FYSB, is offering a discretionary grant to fund Title V Competitive Sexual Risk Avoidance Education projects for youth ages 10 to 19 in states that do not accept their FY 2026 Title V State SRAE allotment. The program supports development and implementation of education projects that help youth voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. Projects must use medically accurate and evidence-based approaches that are age-appropriate, culturally appropriate, and focused on healthy decision making, self-regulation, and avoiding related risk behaviors such as sexual coercion, dating violence, underage drinking, and illicit drug use. Eligibility is limited to local organizations and entities, including faith-based organizations, in the eligible states, with no match required, and applications are due electronically by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on July 29, 2026; the estimated award ceiling is $450,000 and the contact is FYSB.NOFO.CSRAE@acf.hhs.gov.
Eligible Applicants
Eligibility is limited to local organizations and entities, including faith-based organizations, located in states that have not accepted their fiscal year Title V State SRAE allotment. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
