Title V Competitive Sexual Risk Avoidance Education
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Administration for Children and Families and the Family and Youth Services Bureau are offering the Title V Competitive Sexual Risk Avoidance Education grant program to fund projects that teach youth ages 10 to 19 to voluntarily refrain from nonmarital sexual activity. Grantees must implement age-appropriate, medically accurate, and culturally appropriate evidence-based curricula that cover personal responsibility, healthy relationships, and universal education on human trafficking. Projects must target youth in states or territories that did not accept fiscal year 2026 allotments for Title V State SRAE and must establish performance measurement systems. Applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on August 17, 2026, for awards ranging from a floor of $13,501 to a ceiling of $450,000.
Eligible Applicants
Eligibility is limited to local organizations and entities, including faith-based organizations, located in states that have not accepted their fiscal year Title V State SRAE allotment. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
