Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Health Resources and Services Administration is seeking applications for the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nutrition Training Program to improve the nutrition and overall well-being of mothers, children, and families. Selected grantees will provide interdisciplinary graduate education to build a skilled workforce, deliver technical assistance to state Title V and other MCH programs, expand nutrition career pathways, and improve access to services through trainee placements at health centers. This program is restricted to domestic, non-profit private institutions of higher education, with projects anticipated to start on July 1, 2027. The agency expects to make approximately 16 awards ranging from $550,000 to $735,000 each, with applications due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 20, 2027.
Eligible Applicants
Domestic* non-profit private institutions of higher education are eligible to apply. Individuals are not eligible applicants under this NOFO. *"Domestic" means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
