The U.S. Mission to El Salvador is offering the 2026 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund to support alumni-led grant projects that strengthen the U.S. government’s relationship with exchange alumni and advance U.S. policy goals. The program funds initiatives that apply exchange-program skills to community challenges, with suggested activities including workshops, training sessions, networking events, mentorship, and other collaborative programs. Projects must be led by teams of at least two eligible alumni, take place outside the United States, and align with priorities such as security, economic prosperity, education and skill development, community building, or leadership in support of U.S.-El Salvador partnership; all projects must also celebrate and promote the Freedom 250 initiative. Applications are due May 8, 2026, and awards range from $5,000 to $35,000 with no matching requirement.
