NIJ FY25 Research and Evaluation of Emerging Technology Implementation and Impact for Law Enforcement Purposes

The National Institute of Justice is seeking proposals for a cooperative agreement to support research and evaluation of emerging technology implementation and impact for law enforcement purposes. The work focuses on policies, training, operational and staffing issues, communications strategies tied to technology implementation, and the effects of technology use on public safety and agency budgets. NIJ encourages researcher-practitioner partnerships and uses a two-stage review process that begins with a concept paper; only applicants invited after concept paper review may submit a full proposal.
