BJA FY25 Second Chance Act Pay for Success Initiative

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is offering a federal grant under the Second Chance Act Pay for Success Initiative to support performance-based and outcomes-based contracting that helps reduce recidivism and strengthen reentry outcomes for people leaving incarceration. The program funds newly created, expanded, or converted contracts that can address housing and other services tied to long-term reentry success. Eligible applicants are other units of local government, and there is no cost-sharing or matching requirement.
