Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - ERA is seeking applications for the Occupational Safety and Health Research (R01) grant program to support discrete, investigator-initiated research projects. Funded projects must work to improve the understanding of occupational disease and injury risks, evaluate methods to minimize hazardous workplace exposures, and translate scientific findings into practical prevention strategies. Applicants must concisely describe the occupational health problem being addressed, explain how research activities will yield practical outputs, and detail the expected impacts during and beyond the project period. Foreign institutions and foreign components of domestic organizations are ineligible to apply for this funding opportunity.
