Grant Opportunity Analysis

The grants are intended to enhance the capacity of these entities to implement effective wetland programs, focusing on either the development of Wetland Program Plans (WPP) or specific program development actions, while avoiding implementation activities. A total of approximately $1,857,000 is available for distribution across 5 to 9 grants, with individual awards capped at $400,000 and a minimum 25% cost share required, although Tribal applicants may be exempt under certain conditions.
