OJJDP FY25 Youth Gang Prevention and Intervention Program

The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention is offering a discretionary grant program to support youth gang prevention and intervention efforts that reduce gang crime and violence and improve public safety. The program funds implementation of intervention and suppression strategies designed to prevent youth from joining gangs, stop continued gang involvement, and reduce additional youth gang violence. Eligible applicants are units of local government, there is no matching requirement, and awards are expected to support a total program funding level of $3.5 million with up to eight awards and a ceiling of $500,000 per award.
