Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Office of Refugee Resettlement within the Administration for Children and Families is seeking applications for the Placement and Coordination program to diversify providers of resettlement services. Awardees will administer the Program of Initial Resettlement and Intensive Case Management services, either directly or through a network of local resettlement providers. Key responsibilities include reviewing refugee case profiles, arranging placements, securing housing, and providing case management and psychosocial support for individuals with significant vulnerabilities. Eligible applicants include private institutions of higher education, faith-based organizations, and community organizations that are not currently receiving funding to support the Program of Initial Resettlement. Applications must be submitted electronically by August 15, 2026, for awards ranging from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000, with inquiries directed to Ryan Foster at ryan.foster@acf.hhs.gov.
Eligible Applicants
State governments are not eligible to apply to this NOFO.Organizations currently receiving funding from ORR to support the Program of Initial Resettlement are not eligible to apply to this NOFO. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
