Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs is offering a discretionary grant program for Community Parent Resource Centers to help parents of children with disabilities access high-quality training and information that improves outcomes for their children. Awards support centers that serve geographically defined communities and strengthen families’ ability to participate in their children’s education at school and at home. The program is limited to local parent organizations, defined as private nonprofit organizations with boards and missions that meet IDEA-based requirements, and the application materials emphasize standard Department of Education discretionary grant instructions, including electronic submission through Grants.gov in PDF format and registration requirements such as UEI, TIN, and SAM.gov. The opportunity provides an estimated total program funding level of $4,500,000 for about 30 awards, with applications due June 5, 2026 and intergovernmental review due August 4, 2026, and interested applicants may contact Yolanda Lusane at Yolanda.Lusane@ed.gov or (202) 987-0146.

AI Summary
The Federal Register notice from the Department of the Army proposes a public information collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, seeking comments on the Exchange Credit Program (OMB Control Number 0702–0137).
