The U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires is seeking a cooperative agreement to support the U.S.-Argentina Lithium Tech & Transparency Initiative, a program focused on strengthening technical knowledge, transparency, and standards-based approaches in Argentina’s lithium sector. The work will engage provincial mining officials, environmental scientists, and university graduate students in Salta, Jujuy, and Catamarca through workshops, expert exchanges, technical training, and applied learning activities. The project should build understanding of transparent regulatory frameworks, responsible resource governance, U.S. best practices for critical mineral supply chains, and durable professional linkages around lithium governance and oversight.
