The Food and Nutrition Service is seeking applications for the FY 2026 Team Nutrition Training Grants to enhance training for child nutrition professionals and improve meal quality. Eligible state agencies must select one of two grant objectives to either deliver training, technical assistance, and nutrition education for School Meals Programs, or provide training, mentorship, and technical assistance to Child and Adult Care Food Program providers. Applicants are required to submit structured budget narratives aligning with Standard Form 424A across seven standard cost categories and formatted in at least 11-point Times New Roman font. The agency expects to award approximately 20 grants with an estimated total program funding of $10,000,000, ranging from a $500,000 floor to a $1,000,000 ceiling, with applications due by July 31, 2026.
Eligible Applicants
State Agencies, Contiguous US, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands that administer the NSLP, SBP, SFSP, and the CACFP may apply.
