The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA is offering the FY26 DoW Pancreatic Cancer Research Program Idea Development Award to support innovative, high-risk/high-reward research aimed at improving outcomes for people with pancreatic cancer. The award funds projects that address at least one FY26 PCARP focus area and may include clinical research studies, but clinical trials are not allowed. The program emphasizes preliminary data and strong innovation, with topic areas including early detection, risk identification, supportive care, metabolic disruptions, tumor development, biomarkers, and new therapies; it also includes a Partnering PI option for early-career investigators. A pre-application is due July 7, 2026 and the full application is due October 7, 2026, with submissions handled through eBRAP and questions directed to the eBRAP Help Desk.
