The Federal Transit Administration is offering a competitive grant opportunity under the Electric or Low-Emitting Ferry Pilot Program to support cleaner ferry transportation. The program funds capital projects to purchase electric or low-emitting ferry vessels and related infrastructure. Eligible applicants are recipients of 49 U.S.C. 5307 or 5311 funding, as well as States and federally recognized Tribes that operate public ferry systems in urbanized or rural areas, and cost sharing or matching is required.
