Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Service Area Competition (SAC)

The Health Resources and Services Administration is seeking applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Health Center Program Service Area Competition. Successful applicants will provide comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations throughout the United States and its territories. Funding is restricted to specific service areas announced in the Service Area Announcement Table, with additional areas potentially announced later if an awarded health center cannot continue services. The program has an estimated total funding of $258,338,000 to support an expected 61 awards ranging from a floor of $650,000 to a ceiling of $10,117,000. Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 14, 2026, and questions can be directed to bphcfunding@hrsa.gov.
