DoW, Peer Reviewed Cancer, Impact Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Health Agency, through the Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, is soliciting FY26 Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program Impact Award grants to support mature research with a near-term impact on clinical cancer care in congressionally directed topic areas. The work should advance knowledge in cancer research, patient care, and treatment options relevant to the Military Health System, and may include clinical trials or a single-PI or partnering-PI project structure. Applications must be supported by preliminary data and should focus on translational research with strong potential for near-term cancer impact, including relevance to Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. The program anticipates about 30 Impact Award grants and 14 Partnering PI Option awards, with a maximum performance period of three years and funding described as up to $1.5 million for Impact Awards and up to $2.0 million combined for Partnering PI Option applications. Submission is two-step through eBRAP, with the pre-application due June 26, 2026 and the full application due October 5, 2026; the eBRAP Help Desk is available at help@eBRAP.org.
