Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Health Resources and Services Administration, through its Maternal and Child Health Bureau, is seeking a cooperative agreement to establish the MCH Workforce Development and Training Center to strengthen the maternal and child health workforce. The center will provide training, technical assistance, resources, and workforce development opportunities for Title V leaders, staff, and other MCH professionals, including intensive and self-paced training, an online learning platform and hub, and support for academic-practice partnerships. The effort is intended to improve outcomes for women, children, and families, and applications will be reviewed on need, proposed approach, performance measurement, impact, resources, capabilities, and budget reasonableness; the Project Director must devote at least 20% effort and have specific MCH expertise. One award is expected with up to $1,970,000 over five years, applications are due July 8, 2026, and electronic submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET.
