Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Assistance Coordination is seeking proposals for foreign assistance programs in Egypt to advance U.S. commercial diplomacy and economic interests. Applicants must propose projects that align with one of six specific program areas, including artificial intelligence tools for water optimization, water innovation partnerships, agricultural resource management, K-12 AI workforce and educational technology, high-performance computing partnerships, or tech startup acceleration. Proposed activities must span 12 to 36 months, utilize trusted U.S. technology standards, and orient implementing partners toward the American business community to secure foreign contracts. Eligible non-profit and for-profit organizations operating legally in Egypt must submit their proposals electronically via MyGrants by July 31, 2026, for initial panel review under an overall program budget of $100 million.
