Grant Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Mental Health seek applications to support the HIV/AIDS Research Centers program, which includes both developmental and full AIDS Research Centers. Awarded centers will utilize a coordinated infrastructure to advance high-impact, interdisciplinary HIV/AIDS research across basic, neuro-HIV, behavioral and social, clinical, translational, implementation science, and data science domains. Project activities must align with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, the NIH Office of AIDS Research Strategic Plan, and the NIMH Strategic Plan for HIV research, while fostering collaborations with academic institutions, community partners, and government agencies. Although applications are not being solicited at this time, the agency anticipates issuing up to three awards with an award ceiling of $1,500,000.
