Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Capacity Program

The Health Resources and Services Administration is accepting applications for the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health Capacity Program to strengthen state, territorial, and Tribal capacity to implement and sustain maternal safety bundles. Successful awardees will implement evidence-informed maternal safety practices to improve the quality of maternity care, enhance maternal health outcomes, and reduce preventable maternal mortality and severe morbidity. Eligibility is open to any entity capable of carrying out data-driven maternal safety and quality improvement initiatives in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology or maternal health. The agency estimates a total program funding of $8,050,000 to support approximately 35 awards, each with an annual ceiling of $230,000. Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 17, 2027, for projects starting on September 1, 2027.
