Mi Tierra, Mi Triunfo: Colombians Thriving After Their Return
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to Colombia, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking proposals for a public diplomacy media production initiative titled "Mi Tierra, Mi Triunfo: Colombians Thriving After Their Return." Selected awardees will produce short-form digital video profiles and written testimonials, with the potential for a longer-form documentary, that document the experiences of Colombians who voluntarily returned or chose to remain in Colombia instead of migrating to the United States. This community-sourced, non-political content will emphasize resilience and local opportunity to directly support the administration's priority of reducing irregular migration at the source. The initiative expects to issue approximately ten discretionary grant awards with an individual ceiling of $50,000 and a floor of $40,000, representing an estimated total program funding of $50,000. Applications must be submitted by the closing date of August 31, 2026, and inquiries can be directed to Grants Officer Representative Marylee Ferro at ferrom@state.gov.
