Tribal Colleges and Universities Planning for Clean Energy Transition - 2025
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Energy's Golden Field Office is preparing to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) titled "Tribal Colleges and Universities Planning for Clean Energy Transition - 2025," aimed at providing financial support to Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) for planning their transition to clean energy. Eligible applicants must be institutions of higher education located in the contiguous United States or Alaska, formally controlled or chartered by an Indian tribe, with no recipient cost share anticipated. The DOE Office of Indian Energy plans to allocate approximately $5 million in grants, with individual awards ranging from $100,000 to $250,000, and the FOA is expected to be released in late Summer 2024. Interested parties should register with IE-Exchange and subscribe to the DOE Office of Indian Energy email newsletter for updates, as applications will only be accepted through IE-Exchange once the FOA is issued.
