Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund Notice of Funding Opportunity (Latvia)

The U.S. Mission to Latvia is seeking applications for the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund to support exchange alumni-led projects that strengthen the U.S.-Latvia partnership and advance shared priorities tied to America250, democratic values, and bilateral cooperation. Projects are expected to be led by at least two alumni and to deliver public-facing activities in Latvia that benefit the Latvian public, especially outside Riga, while addressing priorities such as national security, economic growth and entrepreneurship, fair trade, alliance building, freedom of speech, transatlantic cooperation, or secure borders. Proposals should show measurable impact, with emphasis on reaching youth and young professionals and on activities carried out outside the United States; eligible applicants must be alumni of U.S. government-funded or sponsored exchange programs, and applications from organizations must meet SAM.gov and UEI requirements. Awards are expected to range from $5,000 to $35,000, applications are due May 4, 2026, projects may start no earlier than September 30, 2026, and should be completed by September 30, 2027, with questions directed to the listed grants management specialist.
