Grant Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Mission to Uzbekistan, through the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, is offering the 2026 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund to support alumni of U.S. government exchange programs in building economic ties between the United States and Uzbekistan. The grant funds alumni-led projects that advance business, energy and trade, STEM, AI and innovation, or education, culture, sports and tourism, including activities such as workshops, hackathons, cultural festivals, and promotion of major U.S.-hosted events. Teams of at least two exchange alumni may apply, and projects must incorporate Freedom 250 themes while highlighting U.S. partnerships and helping attract foreign investment and tourism into America. Awards range from $5,000 to $35,000, with a total program budget of $35,000 for two awards, and applications close on May 6, 2026; questions may be directed to Tashkent-Alumni@state.gov.
