OJJDP FY25 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is offering the FY25 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative as a discretionary federal grant to support prevention and intervention efforts for children, youth, and families impacted by opioid, stimulant, and other substance use disorders. The grant is intended to help states, local jurisdictions, and Tribal jurisdictions implement programs and strategies that identify, respond to, treat, and support affected populations. Eligible applicants include other units of local government, and no cost sharing or matching requirement is specified. The opportunity provides up to $750,000 per award, with an estimated total program funding of $8.96 million for about 12 awards, and the application deadline is May 4, 2026.
