DoW Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trial Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs, is offering the FY26 Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trial Award to support clinical trials aimed at improving the treatment or management of multiple sclerosis. The award funds both small proof-of-principle studies and larger phase 1 or phase 2 trials, with applications required to address at least one FY26 MSRP focus area such as repair or neuroprotection, MS symptoms, or related clinical outcomes. Preliminary data are required, and review places emphasis on clinical impact, research strategy, recruitment and safety planning, regulatory strategy, statistical design, ethical considerations, and the qualifications of the investigative team. Applications use a two-step process through eBRAP, with full submissions accepted via eBRAP or Grants.gov, and the deadline is August 13, 2026; the program anticipates about three awards from roughly $4 million in total funding, with assistance available through help@eBRAP.org.
