Fiscal Year (FY) Service Area Competition (SAC)

The Health Resources and Services Administration is accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Health Center Program Service Area Competition. Grant recipients will deliver comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations across the United States and its territories. Funding is directed toward specific service areas announced in the Service Area Announcement Table, with additional areas potentially designated throughout the year. The agency estimates a total program funding of $288,946,000 to support approximately 80 awards ranging from $566,100 to $15,336,000. Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 8, 2026, and questions may be directed to bphcfunding@hrsa.gov.
